Peony grand marshal nominations sought

It’s time once again to nominate deserving individuals to be the 2020 Peony Festival Parade grand marshal.

Now is the chance to nominate someone for that honor among the many wonderful, giving, and caring individuals in the Van Wert community.

Nominations can be emailed to the Peony Festival Committee at vwpeonyfestival@gmail.com. Include a nominee’s name and why that person is deserving of being named grand marshal by February 7, 2020. All entries will be voted on by the committee at its monthly meeting on February 10 and announced the next day.

The person who nominates the area resident chosen as 2020 grand marshal will be given a gift basket by the Peony Committee.
