VWHS choir to perform on TV at Christmas

Submitted information

Twenty-six area high school choirs took part in TV-44’s annual Holiday Music Festival studio production. Each choir performed three musical selections, which will air on WTLW TV-44 December 24 and 25, and online at wtlw.com.

In addition to singing Christmas songs in the TV-44 studio, the students also had an opportunity to give back to the community. A total of $438 in cash was donated by the choirs, to be given to the Lima Rescue Mission, a non-profit organization that has been helping poor and homeless men since 1906.
