Temporary traffic stops planned on U.S. 30

LIMA — According to the Ohio Department of Transportation’s District 1, U.S. 30 (both directions) will be temporarily stopped for short intervals a half-mile west of the Middle Point-Wetzel Road interchange, for the removal and replacement of overhead transmission lines.

The work is planned for this Saturday, December 14, and Sunday, December 15, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Traffic should only be affected for about 15 minutes at a time, with traffic control provided by LS Equipment Inc. of Delphos.

Should a need arise, contingency dates set for the project are Monday, December 16, and Tuesday, December 17.

Work is being performed by American Electric Power Transmission (AEP) of Columbus.
