Bryan sweeps VW tennis team

BRYAN — Bryan swept Van Wert in non-conference girls tennis action on Tuesday.

Sloane Brown defeated Alli Morrow 6-1 6-0 at first singles, while Katie Farrell topped Allie Etter 4-6, 6-2, 6-4 at second singles. At third singles, Jannessa Johnson defeated Emma Rutkowski 6-0, 6-0.

Bryan’s first doubles team of Kate Grothaus and Taylor Peters defeated Liv Kline and Paige Moonshower 6-1, 6-1, and the second doubles team of Kayla VonSeggern and Kyla Fox beat Jada Buckner and Lizzie Rutkowski 6-0, 5-7, 4-6.

Van Wert (0-3) will play at Shawnee on Thursday.
