Knights defeat Delphos St. John’s

Crestview’s Jaylen Jefferson slides safely during Thursday’s ACME sectional baseball game against Delphos St. John’s. Behind a complete game by Brant Richardson, the Knights defeated the visiting Blue Jays 4-0. Richardson also knocked in a pair of runs, and Griffin Painter and Jefferson each scored a run. Sectional tournament action continues today, with Crestview taking on No. 2 seed Van Wert at 4 p.m., followed by No. 1 seed Lincolnview playing Delphos Jefferson at 6:15 p.m. Both games will be at Crestview High School.
