Service Club gives to YW

The YWCA of Van Wert recently received a donation from the Van Wert Service Club, whose mission is to provide service to others, especially youths, in the Van Wert community. Above, VW Service Club President Brad Greve presents YWCA Executive Director Kimberly Laudick with a check for $500 to support the Summer Food Program, which runs Monday through Friday through August 3. Looking on are program mentors and participating children. The mission of the program is to nourish the minds and bodies of children by providing nutrient-enriched meals during the summer. “The YWCA would like to thank Van Wert Service Club for their continued support and generous donation,” Laudick said.
