Hickory Sticks to host golf clinic

Hickory Sticks Golf Club will host a free golf clinic for youth ages 5-18 this summer. The camp will be held July 10-13 from 2-4 p.m. for boys and girls ages 5-12, and July 17-20 from 2-4 p.m. for boys and girls ages 13-18 years. The camp is limited to the first 50 participants registered, per age group. All skill levels are welcome to attend, no golfing experience is necessary. Lessons will be led by Chuck Sperry along with other staff and will include instruction on golf rules, course etiquette, swinging, putting and chipping instruction and fun games. Golfers will also receive a daily snack and a t-shirt. Registration forms must be returned by July 2 to Hickory Sticks Golf Club, 12083 U.S. Route 127 or at the YMCA, 241 W.
