Veterans Office seeks dinner attendees

The Van Wert Veterans Service Office is asking that World War II, Korea, or Vietnam veterans that have still not attended one of the Veterans Recognition Dinners to contact the office at 419.238.9592 or stop in at the Van Wert County Courthouse, Room 101 (Monday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.; Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.).

The next dinner will be held at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday June 27. The cutoff date to reserve a seat for the dinner is June 18. The dinner includes a free meal for a veteran and a guest, and recognition for the veteran’s service.
