June 15, 7:38 p.m. — Jacob W. Ridinger, 33, of 733 Leeson Ave., was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, as well as a traffic violation, as a result of a traffic stop in the 100 block of South Walnut Street.

May 21, 11 a.m. — Johnathan D. Putman, 27, of 1116 Kear Road, Apt. 31, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear while appearing in Van Wert Municipal Court on charges of operating a vehicle while impaired (OVI), possession of a Schedule IV narcotic and persistent disorderly conduct. Those charges were the result of an incident that occurred early on the morning of May 17.

May 20, 11:44 a.m. — Jered Panning, 16, of Convoy, was arrested on a holder from the Van Wert County Youth Bureau while in the 200 block of South Fulton Street.

May 18, 7:05 a.m. — Chelsea L. Reynolds, 28, of Springfield was charged with possession of drug abuse instruments and Nathan A. Strawsburg, 36, of Mechanicsburg, was charged with possession of marijuana as a result of an incident that occurred at the Comfort Inn in Van Wert.

Gilbert, 33, of 325 S. Shannon St., was charged with possession of marijuana.

May 11, 6:18 p.m. — Joshua C. Williams, 19, of 235 W. Second St., was cited for discharging a weapon within the city limits after he was spotted shooting an air rifle into Town Creek near the intersection of Crawford and Jefferson streets.
