Nominations needed for weekly award

Just two more Van Wert independent/Northwest Ohio Welch Trophy Student Athlete of the Week awards will be given out during the 2019 OHSAA spring sports season.

Area coaches and athletic directors are encouraged to send nominations for this to sports@thevwindependent.com by 12 p.m. Tuesday. The next to last winner will be featured this Friday and the final winner will be featured next Friday.
