Lincolnview, Van Wert and Crestview posted baseball wins on Tuesday, while the Lady Lancers suffered a loss to Bluffton.

Baseball

Lincolnview 10 Bluffton 0 (six innings)

Gavin Carter threw a no-hitter and the Lancers piled up 17 hits in a 10-0 win on Tuesday. It was the 12th consecutive win for Lincolnview (13-1, 3-0 NWC).

Carter struck out 12 and walked no one, and had two hits, including a double and an RBI.

Lincolnview scored five runs in the first – Collin Overholt stole home, Jaden Youtsey scored on an error, Brayden Evans doubled in Creed Jessee, Ethan Kemler crossed home plate on a grounder by Carter and Landon Price doubled home Evans.

Youtsey stole home in the second to increase the lead to 6-0, then Overholt’s RBI single in the fourth plated Braxton Fox. The Lancers scored their last three runs in the sixth and final inning, when Evans stole home and Clayton Leeth doubled in Carter and Cole Binkley.

Ethan Kemler each had three hits, while Overholt, Evans, Youtsey, Carter, Price had two hits apiece.

Lincolnview will host Shawnee today.

Van Wert 15 Ottawa-Glandorf 0 (five innings)

OTTAWA — Jalen McCracken had two hits, two RBI and scored a run to lead Van Wert past Ottawa-Glandorf 15-0 in five innings on Tuesday.

McCracken singled in Parker Conrad and scored a run later in the second inning, then drove in Keaton Brown in the fifth.

After grabbing a 1-0 lead in the first inning, the Cougars scored six in the second and five more in the third. The final three runs came in the fifth inning.

Hayden Maples, Parker Conrad and Brown each drove in two runs to help Van Wert improve to 12-2 (4-1 WBL).

Owen Treece pitched 4.2 innings and allowed just three hits while striking out two and walking one. Conrad threw four pitches for the save.

The Cougars will host Shawnee on Thursday.

Crestview 4 Delphos Jefferson 2

CONVOY — The Knights improved to 4-6 (3-1 NWC) with a 4-2 victory over Delphos Jefferson on Tuesday.

Brant Richardson had two of Crestview’s five hits and Trever Sheets had a hit and drove in two runs, while Griffin Painter had a hit and an RBI.

The Knights scored a run in the first and three more in the fourth.

Kole Small earned the complete game win, allowing five hits while striking out three and walking two.

Crestview will return to action today at Minster.

Softball

Bluffton 6 Lincolnview 0

The Lady Lancers had just three hits – one each by Morgan Miller. Carly Wendel and Tori Boyd – in a 6-0 loss to Bluffton.

The Pirates scored a run in the first inning, another in the sixth and four in the seventh.

Lincolnview (9-4, 2-1 NWC) will host Ottoville today.
