Employer/Student Connection event set
VW independent/submitted information
What do you want to be when you grow up? How many times have people been asked that question? Vantage Career Center can help find the answer.
From 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 45 area employers will be in the commons area of Vantage to talk with students in grades 8 through 12 and their parents about their business and the skills needed to be successful in their industry. There will be businesses representing manufacturing, construction, health care, insurance, finance, agriculture, automotive, law enforcement, and more.
Employers will share current employment opportunities and discuss their future needs. Learn about available training, apprenticeship programs, and scholarship opportunities.
Parents in the area that have students in high school — or getting ready to enter high school — should attend this event. All students in grades 8-12 and their parents from Antwerp, Continental, Crestview, Delphos Jefferson, Delphos St. John’s, Fort Jennings, Kalida, Lincolnview, Ottoville, Parkway, Paulding, Van Wert, and Wayne Trace are invited to this free connection event. Start planning for the future now.
