Dinner planned for WWII, Korea veterans

The Van Wert County Veterans Service Office wants to honor all county World War II veterans (December 7, 1941-December 31, 1946) and Korean Conflict veterans (June 27, 1950-January 31, 1955.

On April 25, the county Veterans Service Office will be holding a dinner for any veteran, and a guest, who served within the above dates. To reserve a seat and get more information on the dinner, call 419.238.9592 or stop in at the Veterans Service office in the basement of the Van Wert County Courthouse.

Office hours are 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday and 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday 8. The cutoff date to reserve a dinner seat is Monday, April 16.
