Doris Marie Kindell

Doris Marie Kindell, 87, of Van Wert, passed away at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born September 5, 1930, in Piqua, the daughter of Clarence and Alice (Cromes) Todd, who both preceded her in death. On August 4, 1950, Doris married the love of her life, Stanley H. Kindell, and they had eight children together.

Doris is survived by her husband, Stanley of Van Wert; six children, Nancy (Rex) Replogle of Van Wert, Mike (Nancy) Kindell of Van Wert, Elaine Langenderfer of Findley, Rex Kindell of Tipp City, Scott Kindell of Van Wert, and David Kindell of Convoy; sister, Lois Rohr of Conover, OH; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by two sons, Timothy and Brian Kindell; a grandson, Michael Kindell Jr.; one son-in-law, Dutch Langenderfer;  a daughter-in-law, Sylvia Kindell; one sister, Charlene Curtner; three brothers, Robert, Richard, and James Todd; and a sister-in-law, Lora Todd.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 20, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Greg Wack officiating. Private burial will be in Miami Memorial in Covington on Monday, January 22.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
