Rager carded a 79, which was good for third place at the tournament.

Earlier in the LJGA season, Rager was dominate, finishing with four first place finishes, two second place finishes and one third place finish.

Highlights included an eight stroke victory, when Rager shot a 67 to win the June 22 Lee Kinstle GM Open at Hickory Sticks Golf Club, and a birdie on the first playoff hole to win the July 11 Union Bank Open at Pike Run Golf Club. Rager also shot a 72 to win the June 20 Cappie Sportswear Open at Springbrook Country Club, and a 71 to claim the Bob Fridley Junior Tournament at Shelby Oaks Golf Club.

The 2017 Lincolnview High School graduate was a back-to-back Division III State Tournament qualifier, finishing sixth during his junior year, and 15th during his senior season. Along the way, Rager racked up numerous other accolades, including two consecutive Northwest Conference Player of the Year titles, and All-Ohio honors.

Rager is continuing his academic and athletic careers at North Greenville University in Tigerville, South Carolina.
