Ruth Marie Brunni

Ruth Marie Brunni, 100, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away at 2:25 p.m. Monday, August 8, 2016, at the Golden Years Homestead in Fort Wayne.

She was born March 31, 1916, in Aberdeen, South Dakota, the daughter of Raymond Clayton and Vera Catherine (Coats) Boyer, who both preceded her in death. On October 26, 1989, she married Orval Reed Brunni, who died June 24, 2008.

Survivors include two sons, David (Sally) Knorr of Duluth, Minnesota, and James (Cindee) Porter of Media, Pennsylvania; a daughter-in-law, Carol Knorr of Woodruff, Wisconsin; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A son, George Knorr; and three brothers, David, Donald, and Richard Boyer, also preceded her in death.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 13, at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City.

No visitation is planned.
