Chamber Coffee to provide new law info

The Van Wert Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a free event for members to provide information on two new laws that will impact Ohio businesses.

The Chamber Coffee event is free and will be held from 7:45-9 a.m. Friday, August 26, at The Kenn-Feld Group training center, 10305 Liberty Union Road west of Van Wert.

Discussion at the event will center on two new laws: Ohio’s new medical marijuana law and the new federal overtime law.

Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation representative Dayna Noble will talk about the new medical marijuana law, while Jonathan T. Stoller, with Bashore, Reineck, Stoller & Waterman Inc. will discuss the new federal overtime law.
