Scott Fire & EMS plan fundraising event

SCOTT — The Scott Fire and EMS fundraiser will be held Saturday, August 6, in the village’s Bressler Park.

Lunch begins at 11:30 a.m. that day, with a menu of sausage sandwiches, baked beans, potato salad, and soft drinks or water.

There will be a cornhole tournament (contact Jeff Cotterman at 419.203.9677 to pre-register), with registration at 10:30 a.m. the day of the fundraiser. The winner of the tourney takes half of the registration fees.

A Parkview Samaritan medical transport helicopter will land at approximately 11:30 that morning, while there will be raffle items and a 50/50 drawing also held that day.

Proceeds from the event help pay for recently purchased firefighting apparatus.
