National champs!

Dancers from Kim Hohman’s DanceWorks attended Encore Talent Productions National Dance Competition in Mason at the end of June, with the best dance groups from the surrounding states competed at this competition. Many of the local groups also brought home top overall high scores and special judges awards. The studio was named “Most Entertaining” during more than one awards ceremony. The production number performing to “There’s A Fire in Here (pictured below)” earned first place overall in the line/production division and was recognized in the “Best of the Best” and was later selected as the winner, earning them the title of national champions. The junior elite jazz line performing to “Block Party” was also named “Best of the Best” out of the small groups. Alanna Knebel, Sayler Wise, Olivia Treece, and Kaden Hohman were also in the “Best of the Best” for their solos. The dancers are under the direction of Kim Hohman; whose dance studio is located at 11199 Van Wert-Decatur Road.
