2 appear for County CP Court hearings

Two people appeared for hearings in Van Wert County Common Pleas Court on Wednesday.

Cyle Black, 30, of Van Wert, pleaded guilty to a prosecutor’s bill of information charging him with possession of drug abuse instruments, a misdemeanor of the first degree. One count of possession of heroin, a fifth-degree felony, was dismissed in exchange for his guilty plea.

Black will be sentenced at 9 a.m. Wednesday, July 20.

Cody Teman, 32, of Delphos, admitted to violating his probation by testing positive for drugs.

Judge Martin Burchfield scheduled sentencing for 9 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, with Teman to be evaluated for drug court.
