Treasurer sets real estate tax deadline

Van Wert County Treasurer Beverly Fuerst has announced that real estate tax bills have been mailed and are due Wednesday, July 13.

Taxpayers who have not received a tax bill should call the Treasurer’s Office immediately at 419.238.5177. In addition, mailed payments must be postmarked on or before July 13 to avoid a penalty.

For taxpayers’ convenience, First Bank of Berne is accepting tax payments.
