VW Parks Dept. announces jr. golf camp

The Van Wert Parks & Recreation Department, in conjunction with Hickory Sticks Golf Club, is organizing a junior golf camp for beginner players.

The camp will run June 20-23. The fee for the camp is $35 and can be paid on the first day of Camp at Hickory Sticks. There are two age divisions: ages 5-10 from 9-11 a.m., and ages 11-16 from noon-2 p.m.

Each camper will receive PGA First Swing for Juniors, PGA First Swing Golfer’s Guide, and PGA Summary of the Rule of Golf booklets. Lunch will be provided on the last day.
