Van Wert to host summer tennis camps

Tennis camps are being offered this summer through Midwest Youth Team Tennis. The Van Wert County Foundation Tennis Complex at Van Wert High School, 10708 Ohio 118, will host the camps.

Registrations are now being taken for the second session, which will be held July 11-15 (registrations for the first session are closed).

There will be three sessions for the July camp. Session 1 is for grades K-3 and will be held from 6-7 p.m. Session 2 is for those entering grades 4-5; it will be held from 7-8 p.m. Session 3 is for those entering grades 6-8, and will be held 8-9 p.m.

Every player will receive a team uniform and other age-appropriate tennis equipment. The fee for the camp will be $55 if registered by June 10, and $75 for registrations after that date. Participants MUST register online by going to www.midwestteamtennis.com.
