Melrose fire

More than 50 firefighters from seven area fire departments battled a blaze that started Friday afternoon at Uncle Fudd’s restaurant in Melrose. The American Red Cross Disaster Team was also at the scene and provided canteen service for firefighters. Responding fire departments were Oakwood, Grover Hill, Paulding, Continental, Auglaize Township, Payne, and Cecil. (photo by Mark Klausing for the Van Wert independent)
