Master Gardeners plan annual plant sale

The annual Ohio State University Extension (OSUE) Van Wert County Master Gardener Volunteer Plant Sale will be held in the Junior Fair Building on the fairgrounds from 8 a.m.-noon, or until sold out, Saturday, April 30.

The sale will feature potted herbs, both culinary and aromatic, plus a variety of hardy chrysanthemums. Gardening items will also be available.

The proceeds from the sale will benefit the Extension’s Van Wert County Master Gardener volunteers’ projects, such as the Garden of the Senses, Smiley Park Children’s Garden, and educational activities for the community.
