Stanley E. Miller

Stanley E. Miller, 80, of Van Wert, died 7:45 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2016, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.

He was born January 29, 1936, in Payne, the son of Daniel E. and Mary (Arb) Miller, who both preceded him in death. He married Janell (Swygart) Miller, who died March 7, 2015.

Survivors include two children, Tom (Nancy) Miller of Forest and Beth (Dale) Warnecke of Findlay; a brother, Richard (Margaret) Miller of Convoy; one sister, Barbara Ann (Bruce) Baker of Ohio City; and four grandchildren, Jack Warnecke, Alexa Warnecke, Michelle Miller, and David Miller.

Mr. Miller retired from Central Insurance Company in Van Wert as a computer programmer. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Van Wert and was formerly very active in the Boy Scouts.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, March 14, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Van Wert, with the Rev. Scott Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

A celebration of Stan’s life will be held from 9-11 a.m. Monday at the church.
