Easter Bone Hunt coming this Saturday

Just a reminder that the Van Wert County Humane Society will present its second Easter Bone Hunt, taking place at Smiley Park in Van Wert this coming Saturday, March 26, starting at 11 a.m.

Join other dog-loving community members and their dogs in search of treat filled eggs and pet toys. In addition to the bone hunt there will be sales of t-shirts and pet goodie bags, as well as an opportunity to meet some of the local animal shelter’s most lovable, adoptable dogs.

The Bone Hunt is open to the public and free of charge, but donations are welcome and will go to the Van Wert County Humane Society. All dogs are required to be on a leash, and participants should bring an Easter basket to collect pets’ trophies.
