CECIL — Another body has been found in Paulding County, while investigators are seeking more information on a car driven by alleged murder victim Wilma Schwartz.

Paulding County sheriff’s deputies were called to Rochester Cemetery, near the intersection of U.S. 127 and Paulding County Road 424 in Crane Township, after a dead body was found in the grass.

At around 7 p.m. Tuesday, a man was mushroom hunting along the south edge of the cemetery and located the body of a dead man covered in a blanket.

Paulding County Coroner Dr. Joseph Kuhn, along with crime scene investigators, believe the body has been there for several weeks. The body was taken to the Lucas County Morgue for an autopsy, and to assist with identification.

As soon as identification can be made another press release will be issued.

Assisting deputies at the scene were the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation’s CSI Unit and Dr. Kuhn. The Paulding Fire Department also provided generator lights to investigators.

Meanwhile, investigators are also seeking the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle believed to belong to Schwartz, the Fort Wayne, Indiana, woman whose body was found near Antwerp on Monday at an abandoned property on Indiana-Ohio State Line Road.

“Our investigation has us searching for a red Pontiac Sunfire that Wilma drove,” said Paulding County Sheriff Jason K. Landers. “The vehicle year is unknown and the license plate is believed to be fictitious; however, it is believed to be an Indiana plate

“That vehicle is very important to our investigation,” Sheriff Landers added. “I am asking the public to be observant. If you see a red Sunfire that appears abandoned, report that to your local law enforcement agency; if a wrecker service towed a vehicle like this, please report it.”
