J. Nickolas Detwiler

J. Nickolas “Nick” Detwiler, 46, of Ohio City, died at 10 a.m. Monday, February 8, 2016, at his residence.

He was born September 11, 1969, in Van Wert, the son of Joseph N. Detwiler Sr. and Dixie (Rise) Detwiler, who both preceded him in death. He married Angela (High) Detwiler, who survives in Ohio City.

Other survivors include a brother, Norm (Pam) Detwiler of Van Wert; two sisters, Joyce (Dennis) Thatcher and Johnna (Greg) Roberts, both of Van Wert; and a grandchild.

A brother, Jeffrey N. Detwiler, also preceded him in death.

There will be no funeral service.

Calling hours are from 1-5 p.m. Friday, February 12, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert. Friends are invited to join the family following calling hours on Friday for food and fellowship at Ohio City Church of God, 204 E. Carmean St.
