YMCA promotes youth basketball tourney

The YMCA of Van Wert County is announcing the registration for the fourth annual Van Wert YMCA Classic for teams of boys in grades 3-6. The “King of the Court” tournaments for boys’ teams in grades 5-6 will be held February 20-21, while the “Winter Jam” tournaments for boys in grades 2-4 will be played at the YMCA February 27-28.

Entry fee is $100 and tournaments are under the direction of Programs Director Briana Geiger. This tournament will offer a concession stand during every game and a small admission fee of $3 for adults and $2 for students. Players and coaches get in free.
