Scott house fire

Scott house fire 1-19-16

Firefighters and the local Red Cross disaster team were dispatched late Tuesday morning to the scene of a dairy barn fire in Scott that first started eight days ago. This time the fire was at a house where 10 workers that take care of the farm lived. The workers made it out safe. The owners of the farm are getting the workers another place to live. Subway, McDonald’s, and Wild Willy’s restaurants provided free food for firefighters who had to battle the blaze on a very cold day. Responding agencies were Scott, Grover Hill, and Payne fire departments, while the Ohio Department of Transportation salted, and the State Fire Marshal’s Office was called to help investigate the blaze.
