Patsy Irene Bland

Patsy Irene Bland, 57, of Payne, died at 4:45 a.m. Friday, January 22, 2016, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born December 14, 1958, in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of Harlod Delbert Lykins, who preceded her in death, and Peggy Maxine (Shepherd) Lykins, who survives in Inverness, Florida. On July 10, 2004, she married Shawn Charles Bland, who survives in Payne.

Other survivors include three children, Rachel (Matthew) Mitchell of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Jesse (Liza) Rivera of Chicago, Illinois, and Kayla Bland of Defiance; three brothers, Vernie K. (Norma) Lykins, Harold D. (Sherry) Lykins, and John L. (Lisa) Lykins, all of Florida; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 28, at the Family Christian Center, 1834 E. Second St. in Defiance, with Pastor Tim Tracy officiating.

Calling hours are from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, and from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday at the church.
