Lady Knights dominate Lincolnview girls

CONVOY — The Crestview Lady Knights defeated Lincolnview 58-17 to move to 10-4 on the season and 4-1 in the Northwest Conference. Crestview’s balanced attack was led by Emily Bauer and Brady Guest, who had 15 points apiece. Paige Motycka added 12 points to go along with seven steals and five rebounds.

The Knights shot well from the field, making 25 of 52 field goal attempts (48 percent). Crestview was 2 of 9 from three-point range (22 percent). The Knights’ defense held Lincolnview to 18 percent shooting from the field (5 of 27), while the Lancers made 1 of 4 three-point attempts (25 percent).

Both teams were 6 of 8 (75 percent) from the free throw line.

Crestview outrebounded the Lancers, 24-16, while forcing Lincolnview into 21 turnovers, while losing the ball just nine times.

Olivia Gorman led the Lancers with 6 points.

Crestview’s junior varsity team was also victorious by a score of 32-20.
