Robert C. Winters

Robert C. Winters, 76, of Grover Hill, and formerly of Hackettstown, New Jersey, died Monday, December 21, 2015, at his residence.

He was born August 17, 1939, in Clifton, New Jersey, the son of Albert Andrew and Pauline (Laux) Winters, who both preceded him in death. On May 21, 1966, he married KarenAnn (Murray) Winters, who survives in Grover Hill.

Other survivors include three children, Sherryl (Howard) Proctor of Haviland, Kelly (Andreas) Dube of Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania, and Bonnie Winters of Sparta, New Jersey; two sisters, Eleanor (Harry) Fodor of Bath, Pennsylvania, and Carol (Leonard) deGroot of Bordentown, New Jersey; a brother-in-law, Robert (JoAnne) Murray of Reeder, Pennsylvania; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, December 28, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Eileen Kochensparger officiating. Burial will be in Blue Creek Cemetery near Haviland.

Calling hours are from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, December 27, and an hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.
