Madge Wilson

Madge Wilson, 73, of Convoy, died at 1:48 a.m. Thursday, December 24, 2015, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born March 3, 1942, in Lima, the daughter of Ralph C. Jolley Jr. and Neva (Samsal) Jolley, who both preceded her in death. On May 23, 1975, she married Donald R. Wilson, who survives in Convoy.

Other survivors include four children, Jon (Ellen) Jones of Van Wert, Craig Jones of Ohio City, Dawn (Terry) Watson of Convoy, and Jay (Melissa) Wilson of Findlay; a brother, Donald (Anita) Jolley of Findlay; one sister, Janet (Robert) Nelson of Broadview Heights; seven grandchildren, Joshua Jones, Kristi Dull, Ericca Lehman, Riley Jones, Cory Watson, Michael Watson, and Tyler Watson; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Jackie Jones; and one sister (in infancy), also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Wilson retired from Hall Lumber Company in Convoy and was an EMT with the Convoy Fire Department. She had also worked at Aeroquip Corporation in Van Wert. She was an avid dog lover and rescuer.

Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday, December 28, at Gearhart Jurczyk Funeral Home in Convoy, with the Rev. Melissa Steinecker officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Convoy at a later date.

Calling hours are from 3-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
