Alice Mary Anna Thieman

Alice Mary Anna Thieman, 77, of Rockford, died at 2:50 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2015, at the Laurels of Shane Hill in Rockford.

She was born November 11, 1938, in St. Sebastian, the daughter of Urban and Marian (Moeller) Huber, who both preceded her in death. She was married to Paul Bernard Thieman, who also preceded her in death.

Survivors include three children, Ralph (Beth) Thieman of Tipp City, Polly (Clete) Muhlenkamp of St. Marys, and Angie (Luis) Sanchez of Ottawa; two sisters, Sister Cecilia Huber of St. Martin and Phyllis (Dennis) Stachler of Burkettsville; six grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Myrt Huber of McCartyville, and Joan Huber of Chickasaw; and a brother-in-law, Paul Billerman of Celina.

A son, Henry Thieman; three brothers, Donald, Gerald, and Myron Huber; a sister, Velma Billerman; and one sister-in-law, Norma Huber, also preceded her in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 22, at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Rockford, with Father Ken Schnipke officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Monday, December 21, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford.
