SUV/semi accident

Minor injuries were reported in a collision between a Chevy Blazer and a semi tractor-trailer rig that occurred at approximately 9 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of U.S. 224 and Richey Road. The Van Wert Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol investigated the accident, while the Van Wert County Emergency Management Agency was called to the scene for cleanup of an oil spill related to the accident. Occupants in the Blazer were taken to Van Wert County Hospital for treatment. No other information was available. (photo by Rick McCoy for the Van Wert independent)
