Salvation Army seeks kettle volunteers

Because red kettle season has started for 2015, the Salvation Army is in great need of volunteers to stand by the kettles and ring the bells to enable the organization to be able to meet its 2015 red kettle goal of $40,000.

All money received via the $10 coupons and the kettle donations goes to the funding of the Salvation Army’s local programming, whether it be for the food pantry, utilities/rent assistance, clothing vouchers, school items assistance, winter coats, or youth activities at the Corps.

Area residents who feel moved to help out with the red kettle program, can call Daniece at 419.910.9332 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Volunteers can determine their hours and location of ringing.
