October of 2014.  He had created a number of still life stations that could produce many different results by just changing the position of the elements, lights, and camera.   Dick had enough different setups that several individual photographers could  be kept busy at one time.

Jan Sorensen supplied the tables and space in her home for the set ups and invited photographers in to take advantage of the special opportunity to create some unique images.  She became keeper of the materials when Dick went into assisted living and now has passed them on to the Van Wert Area Photography Club (VWAPC).  Stuart Jewett and Chris Wilson have brought the items to 114 S. Race St., with the hope of having some stations set up for our next meeting on Nov. 11 — so bring your cameras.

Tracy Sterling and Stuart Jewett accompanied Randy Shellenbarger and members of the Grand Lake Camera Club to John Bryan State Park just outside Yellow Springs for a photo shoot on Oct. 31.  Stu commented that although the sky and leaves were not as impressive as they had hoped for, the group still brought home some great shots.  We look forward to seeing some of their images when they bring flash drives to share with the club during the Nov. 11 meeting.

Secretary of State John Husted has certified that the VWAPC is a domestic nonprofit corporation; the articles are in the custody of his office.  There are several steps yet to complete before the club achieves tax exempt status.

The Van Wert Area Photography Club will next meet on Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. at 114 S. Race St. It should be an interesting meeting.
