County financial aid meeting scheduled

A financial aid informational meeting has been scheduled for Van Wert County schools on Monday, November 30, from 6:30-8 p.m. The meeting will be held in the First Federal Lecture Hall of the Niswonger Performing Arts Center of Northwest Ohio.

The meeting is for parents and guardians of county high school seniors who want to learn more about financial aid.

Amy Francis of Defiance College will make a presentation that includes explaining the step-by-step process for completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Francis will also answer parents/guardians’ questions regarding the entire financial aid application process, while other literature and information related to the process will be available.

Those attending should park on the middle school side (north side) of the complex and enter through the side or front doors of the NPAC.

Those unable to attend the meeting should contact guidance counselors at their school.
