Knights honored

Crestview’s soccer team ended their season Monday. The girls played at Miller City and lost 5-0. “I am thankful for the opportunity to work with the girls on my team and my sister on and off the field,” said sophomore Alexis Munoz. “I’m ready to get back at it next year.”

The National Honors Society held their annual induction ceremony last Sunday. To get accepted into NHS you have to qualify academically, go through an interview, and complete an application including letters of recommendation. Sydney Bowen said, “It was challenging to get into but worth it because I feel that it’s a very high honor to now be a part of NHS.”

Crestview teachers chose their students of the month for September. These students get out of school for lunch with Principal Biro. These students got picked for the hard work they put into class and being an excellent classmate to others. Sixth grade: Hunter Rothgeb, seventh grade: Raegan Hammons, eighth grade: Lexi Ward, ninth grade: Paul Knittle, tenth grade: Colton Wolford, eleventh grade: Ally Fegley, and twelfth grade: Summer Strickler.
