Students learn about safety, music

The second graders at Lincolnview Elementary got the opportunity to go to Agriculture Safety Day in Delphos. The students learned about animal, fire, electric, boat, chemical, mower and farm safety. The students also got the opportunity to be able to look inside a Life Flight helicopter and heard the pilot talk about his job and different ways to stay safe.

Several sixth graders from Lincolnview will be participating in a concert featuring Ethan Bortnick of Florida at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center on Nov. 1. Ethan is a 14-year-old child piano prodigy and is already an accomplished pianist, composer and singer.   The sixth grade music classes have been introduced to his music and are thrilled to be part of this once in a lifetime opportunity.
