Local resident featured in Ohio magazine

A Convoy resident will have a feature story in the Ohio Farm Bureau’s magazine.

Vicki Miller will be featured in the September/October issue of Our Ohio magazine, which is mailed out to more than 200,000 Ohioans.

In the article, Miller, who was named one of two winners in the 2015 Ohio Signature Food Contest, shares her vision for the future with her jam-making business, Messmakerbaker Jams & Jellies.

“It’s the freshest ingredients available with no artificial flavors or colors,” said Miller of her jam production. “It’s cooked slow and low until it is the perfect consistency.”

Miller will receive free technical and business development assistance through the Center for Innovative Food Technology in Toledo. Her dream is to become a national brand.
