Lancer golfers win NWC quad match

OTTAWA — The Lincolnview boys’ golf team won a Northwest Conference quad-match with Allen East, Columbus Grove and Ada on Thursday at Colonial Golf Club in Ottawa.

The Lancers carded a 173, four strokes better than second-place Allen East (177), while the Bulldogs were third (188) and Ada fourth (280).

Kayne Richardson of Allen East carded a 37 to take match medalist honors, while Lincolnview’s Joshah Rager had a 38 to take runner-up medalist honors.

Other Lancers scores are as follows:

Ryan Moody, 44; Reece Farmer, 45; Derek Youtsey, 46; Jaden Youtsey, 48; and Nick Motycka, 56.

With the win, Lincolnview is now 16-0 on the season and 7-0 in the NWC.
