Lady Knight volleyball team loses to LCC

The Crestview Lady Knight varsity volleyball team fell short in a match with Lima Central Catholic on Thursday. Scores were 20-25, 23-25, 25-20, and 23-25. Crestview is now 6-5 overall and 2-1 in the Northwest Conference.

Leading the way for the Lady Knights were the following:

Serving – Haley Helm, 20/20 with 3 aces; Abby Bagley, 20/21 with 1 ace; Tianna Rager, 14/15; Maci Baker, 13/13; Claire Zaleski, 11/12 with 3 aces; Brady Guest, 7/7.

Hitting – Helm, 15 kills; Guest, 8 kills; Baker, 6 kills; Zaleski and Ally McCoy, 5 kills each.

Setting – Bagley, 17 assists; Guest, 11 assists.

Digs – Rager, 18 digs; Zaleski, 14 digs; Helm, 11 digs.

Blocking – Guest and McCoy led the way in blocking.

The Crestview junior varsity was also defeated by LCC, in three games.

The Knights will be back in action Monday as they travel to Van Wert to play the Cougars. JV game will begin at 5:30 p.m.
