Knights lose NWC v-ball match to Ada

ADA — The Crestview Lady Knights varsity volleyball team lost its first Northwest Conference match of the year to Ada in four games. Scores were 19-25, 18-25, 25-22 and 22-25. Crestview’s varsity squad is now 5-2 overall and 1-1 in the NWC.

Individual Crestview results

Serving – Haley Helm, 13/14 with one ace; Abby Bagley, 13/13 with an ace; Brady Guest, 11/11 with two aces; Claire Zaleski, 15/16 with an ace.

Hitting – Guest and Helm, 14 kills apiece; Zaleski, nine kills; Maci Baker, three kills; Bagley, four kills.

Setting – Guest and Bagley, 19 assists each.

Digs – Tianna Rager, 15 digs; Zaleski, 12 digs; Helm, 9 digs.

Blocking – Baker and Ally McCoy led in blocks.

The Crestview junior varsity squad also lost to Ada by scores of 10-25 and 11-25. The JVs are now 3-4 overall and 0-2 in league play.

Crestview will be back in action on Saturday as they travel to Antwerp for a tri-match with Kalida and Antwerp.
