Knight runners compete at Tiffin meet

TIFFIN — The Crestview High School cross country teams competed at the Tiffin Cross Country Carnival on Saturday.  The Knights had runners in four different races throughout the morning.

The varsity girls were led by Ashley Bowen’s 31st place medal-winning finish in a highly competitive field.  Other scoring runners, in order, were Brooke Ripley, Lauren Schumm, Matteson Watts, and Meghan Sherman.

The varsity boys placed fourth out of 25 teams in the Division III B Varsity Race.  Caleb Bagley (17th), Jordan Perrott (18th), and Gabe Smith (22nd) all earned plaques for their efforts. Dylan Sparks and Andrew Boley rounded out the team scoring for Crestview.

The Knights will run this Saturday to the Ottawa-Glandorf Blue and Gold Invitational.
