Court closing today; to reopen at new site

Beginning at noon today, Van Wert Municipal Court will be closed due to relocation.

On Monday, September 21, the court will re-open at 8 a.m. at its new location, 102 E. Main St. in Van Wert (former First Financial Bank building).

Online payments may be made using the court’s online payment website at www.vwmc.org. Phone and fax service will not be available during the closure, but upon re-opening the phone and fax numbers will remain unchanged.

Judge Jill T. Leatherman and the Municipal Court staff thanked the public for its patience and understanding during this transition.

“We look forward to continuing to serve the public and community at the court’s newly renovated location in downtown Van Wert,” Judge Leatherman added.
