T-shirt design winner

Brianna Bebout (pictured) is this year’s winner of the United Way Day of Caring t-shirt design contest. Her design will be featured on t-shirts for the 17th annual Day of Caring. A food drive to support the Salvation Army Food Pantry and a blood drive supporting the American Red Cross will be held on Friday, September 25. Make an appointment today to donate blood by calling 800.REDCROSS or by visiting www.redcrossblood.org. Come to donate from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. that day and receive a t-shirt and be entered into a drawing to win a $50 gas card courtesy of the Van Wert County Day of Caring sponsors. Barrels for Salvation Army food donations will in place by Friday, August 28.
