Area residents are reminded of the Ohio Sales Tax Holiday this weekend. The holiday, which started at 12:01 a.m. today and runs through 11:59 p.m. Sunday, August 9, exempts shoppers from having to pay sales tax on a number of items, mostly related to back-to-school purchases.

Eligible items include the following:

  • School supply items priced at $20 or less.
